Massage~Esalen Style

Esalen style Massage, is similiar to Swedish massage, however the philosophy and intent are quite different.  Esalen is a holistic massage in that it seeks to integrate body, mind and spirit into a more harmonious whole person.  The aim is to connect parts of the body together and awaken body awareness, emotions, spirituality, and induce deep relaxation. Long flowing movements are used that span the entire body in combination with energy work and traditional massage techniques. Esalen reflects the thought that touch is a basic human need and is very therapeutic.
