Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the use of fine, filiform needles that are sterile, sealed and one time use, disposables. This protects the patient from contamination, provides the greatest comfort on insertion and piece of mind. These needles, when inserted by a skilled practitioner offer little or no discomfort. They will be applied to prescription points along the meridians of the body. Each prescription point provides a directive to the brain that tells it the action to be taken in the body. Points are combined in much the same fashion as herbals are put together to create a formula. This formula will balance the elements of the body that have fallen out of harmony, creating a disease or dysfunction.
